Hurricanes Helene and Milton produced record storm surge in Pinellas County. As of mid-November, after a great deal of work, including digging out the pool and parking lot, which were completely buried under feet of sand, Madeira Norte is back up and ready for your visit. Johns Pass Village across the street suffered catastrophic damage and many of the shops are in the process of rebuilding. Please support the shops and restaurants in Madeira Beach; some may not reopen until 2025. The city is in the process of rebuilding the beach dunes but our gorgeous beach is as beautiful as ever!

Gulf view 2 bedroom condo located directly on Madeira Beach across from famous John's Pass Village with its many restaurants, shops, fishing charters, boat tours, and more. Our condo is fully furnished with high-speed WiFi and cable TV in living room and each bedroom.
Heated community pool and beach on the ground floor. Our building is direct beachfront--no busy street to cross! Everything is within walking distance--no car needed--just Uber from the airport. There is a reserved parking space if you do have a car.
Our condo sleeps a maximum of 4 guests. Primary renter must be over age 25 (and stay for the duration of the rental) and any children must be over age 6. No third party bookings. No parties or large groups per HOA & house rules. No overnight guests without prior written approval.
Due to very high demand, our condo rents from Saturday - Saturday in Winter & Summer. While we are unable split up weeks, shorter or longer stays are sometimes possible in the off season -- please email us. Long-term winter rentals are possible but may only be available a year or more in advance!
Winter (January - March) and Summer (May - August) are prime seasons in Florida and usually book many months in advance.
Consider staying in Fall and have the beach all to yourself at a discounted rate; September through November are nice and warm (not sweltering like the summer) and have few people on the beach. Contact us now for Fall bookings!
This is our personal condo (and future retirement home). We regret that while we cannot provide daily maid service and linen changes, we have a washer and dryer for your convenience. The fully stocked kitchen (dishes, cups, silverware, etc.) was just updated with brand new stainless steel appliances. The hall closet has chairs, towels, pool toys, and a small umbrella. The entire building was recently updated with new paint, stucco, roof and elevators.
Video cameras in common areas (pool, elevators, beach gate) monitored by the HOA. Video doorbell on our front door to monitor guest access for safety/security.

If you don't want to bother with the hassle of renting a car, the Suncoast Beach Trolley will take you up and down the beach for only $5 per day for unlimited rides! There are Publix and Wynn Dixie grocery stores only 5 minutes away by car or trolley. A small convenience store is across the street in John's Pass Village. Just Uber from Tampa Airport. Many of our guests feel they do not need a car when staying at our condo.
If you do bring/rent a car, Busch Gardens is about 45 minutes away and Disney is about 90 minutes away. We highly recommend Busch Gardens (with its amusement park and African safari experience) over pricy Disney. Downtown Tampa is 35 minutes away and St. Petersburg is about 20 minutes away. Both have myriad museums, shopping and sports venues. The Super Bowl champion Buccaneers (NFL) and back to back Stanley Cup champion Lightning (NHL) play in Tampa. The Tampa Bay Rays (MLB) and Rowdies (soccer) play in St. Pete. Tampa Bay is one of the fastest growing areas in the nation. Our personal condo and eventual retirement home. We bought this for its perfect location. With the Suncoast Beach Trolley no need for a car to do everything needed -- restaurants, shopping, grocery store. etc. John's Pass is a truly unique location with almost everything within walking distance. We have lived in Tampa Bay for more than 20 years and are happy to share advice about local events, attractions and restaurants as well as the pros and cons of living in Florida and Tampa Bay.Amenities
